Some of us were part of the team that developed the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and we have worked to advance the BHR agenda from inside companies, the UN, NGOs and elsewhere.

We have all recently moved from our respective institutional roles and find ourselves (more) free to provide frank views and perspectives on some of the many challenges facing BHR practitioners of all stripes.

The world has changed dramatically since the UNGPs were endorsed 15 years ago. While we firmly believe the UNGPs have stood the test of time, the changing (geo)-political, legal and business landscapes have important implications for how we chart the course ahead to make companies more responsible, improve accountability for wrong-doing and pursue a meaningful smart mix of measures to achieve impact in the lives of people.

Over the course of ten fun and informal unfiltered conversations, we will challenge each other to try to get to the heart of some of today’s trickiest issues and dilemmas in the BHR field, sharing a healthy sense of frustration but always an ongoing desire to find solutions.

Whatever your role in the BHR eco system, there will be something for you.
